1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or engaging Crawlspace Specialists Surrey for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
2. Use of Website
The content of this website is provided for general informational purposes about crawlspace services available in Surrey, BC and the surrounding Lower Mainland. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate, but content may change without notice. Nothing on this site constitutes a guarantee, warranty, or specific advice about your home until we have completed an on-site inspection.
3. Quotes and Estimates
Free estimates are provided in writing after on-site inspection. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing for any project requires a signed work order. Verbal estimates are not binding.
4. Project Work and Workmanship
Work performed by Crawlspace Specialists Surrey is subject to the specific scope outlined in the signed work order. We provide a workmanship guarantee on completed installations as outlined in your project documentation. Manufacturer warranties apply to specific products (vapor barrier, dehumidifier, sump pump, etc.) and are passed through to the homeowner.
5. Limitation of Liability
Crawlspace Specialists Surrey is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, conditions discovered during work that were not reasonably visible at quote time, or events outside our control such as flooding, severe weather, or third-party interference. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific project from which the claim arises.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Project deposits are refundable up to seven calendar days before the scheduled start date. Within seven days of start, deposits may be retained to cover materials ordered and scheduling commitments. Cancellations once work has begun are handled case-by-case based on materials used and labor performed.
7. Photography and Marketing
We may photograph completed work for marketing purposes (before-and-after galleries, blog content, social media). No identifying information about you or your property is shared. If you prefer your project not be photographed for marketing, let us know in writing before work begins.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photos, and graphics, is the property of Crawlspace Specialists Surrey unless otherwise noted. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
